to Malvern Civic Society's web site. Founded in 1958 as "The
Friends of Malvern", Malvern Civic Society is a voluntary
organisation and a registered charity. It is entirely independent, with
a membership drawn from across the Malvern area and beyond.
Our aim is to conserve and protect the best elements of Malvern's heritage in the built and natural environments while seeking to encourage high standards of planning and design for the enhancement of Great Malvern and the surrounding area.
WHAT WE DO. Throughout the year our programme of events endeavours to inform and entertain in a variety of ways. We also make a positive contribution to the civic life of the Malvern area including our annual 'Civic Week' celebrations, now renamed 'Midsummer Malvern'. On this website you can find out more about what we do.
US. If you are in sympathy with our aims why not come along to one of our meetings and find out more about us? If you would like to become a member application forms to join us are available at meetings or can be downloaded from this website. (Existing members can follow the link to the right hand side to download the membership renewal form). Please also see the Society Rules.
